Satopant Trek – 6 Days Itinerary
Day 1 – Dehradun/Rishikesh → Badrinath (300 km | 3000 m)
Early morning pickup from Dehradun/Rishikesh and begin your blissful journey through the serene Himalayan landscapes. En route to Badrinath, witness all the Panch Prayags (five sacred river confluences):
• Devprayag – Alaknanda & Bhagirathi
• Rudraprayag – Alaknanda & Mandakini
• Karnaprayag – Alaknanda & Pindar
• Nandprayag – Alaknanda & Nandakini
• Vishnuprayag – Alaknanda & Dhauli Ganga
Arrive at Badrinath, check in to the hotel.
Overnight stay and dinner at Badrinath.
Day 2 – Badrinath → Mana (3 km drive) → Laxmi Van (3–4 km trek | 3400 m)
After early breakfast, drive 3 km to Mana – India’s first village. Begin your trek to Laxmi Van at 3400 m, crossing the iconic Saraswati River bridge and passing through beautiful Bhojpatra forests.
Overnight stay and dinner at Laxmi Van campsite.
Day 3 – Laxmi Van → Chakratirtha (8 km trek | 4000 m)
Start your morning trek along the Alaknanda Valley. Enjoy stunning snow-clad views of the majestic Neelkanth Peak (6596 m). Upon reaching Chakratirtha, absorb the beauty of vast green meadows and surrounding high peaks.
Overnight stay and dinner at Chakratirtha.
Day 4 – Chakratirtha → Satopant Lake (4600 m) → Chakratirtha (10 km round trek)
After breakfast, begin your 5 km trek (one way) to the divine Satopant Lake/Taal, which involves steep ascents at some points. At the lake, witness crystal-clear waters reflecting Neelkanth and Balakun Peaks, filling the mind and soul with deep spiritual peace.
Return to Chakratirtha by noon.
Overnight stay and dinner at Chakratirtha campsite.
Day 5 – Chakratirtha → Mana → Badrinath (11–12 km trek | 5–6 hrs)
After breakfast, trek back to Mana. From Mana, take a taxi to Badrinath and check in to the hotel. In the evening, visit the sacred Shri Badrinath Temple and feel the divine energy and serenity.
Overnight stay and dinner at Badrinath.
Day 6 – Badrinath → Rishikesh/Dehradun (300 km | 9–10 hrs)
After early breakfast, check out and begin your return journey with unforgettable spiritual and scenic memories of Uttarakhand. The tour concludes upon reaching Rishikesh/Dehradun.
